Poll: Do you support Governor-elect Chafee's plan to expand the sales tax?

Governor-elect Lincoln Chafee is advocating for a new 1% sales taxes on food, clothing and over-the-counter-drugs. He argues this will close Rhode Island's budget deficit and help to avoid further increases in property taxes.
