UPDATED Protests: Afternoon State House, Arrests at Public Safety Complex & March on Elmwood Ave

It was another day of protests in Providence on Saturday, as a Portland Solidarity Protest took place at the Rhode Island State House in the afternoon, marking the first in a series of events that continued into Saturday night.

At Providence’s Public Safety Complex, protestors clashed with police dressed in riot gear, and five protestors were arrested.  Then, after 9 PM a group of approximately 150 to 200 marched down Elmwood Avenue to the park at the
