According to police, when they arrived, they saw a large number of cars parked and could hear loud music coming from a house.

Police said the man -- Alexander Toribio -- became antagonistic and attempted to strike an officer. Toribo was placed in handcuffs and arrested.
Halloween Night
Shortly before midnight on Sunday, police were called to Chad Brown and Pembroke Avenue due to a large party with hundreds of people.
According to police, someone had yelled that a person had a gun, and the crowd began to disperse -- and a fight broke out. Police said that they did not find evidence of a firearm.
Police called in more cars to try and break up the crowd, which they said became hostile towards police.
As police tried to continue to disperse the crowd, they said a man -- later identified as Brian Goncalves -- tried to agitate the crowd to refuse to follow police orders.
Police then said as they took Goncalves into custody he resisted arrest; he was then transported to Central Station.

In September, Providence police responded to reports of a large crowd gathered on Dupont Drive near the Cranston line -- where shots were reportedly fired soon after police arrived.
