Providence Public Schools Sunday night announced that the district will transition to distance learning on Monday and cancel afterschool activities on January 31, 2022, to allow for ongoing snow removal following the blizzard.

The district distributed devices to students for distance learning on Friday afternoon.

The City of Providence ended the parking ban at 1 PM on Sunday, but there have been complaints across the city about the poor job the city did in removing snow off city streets.
