In May 2019, the Johns Hopkins Institute for Education Policy led a review of the Providence Public School District (PPSD).
"We did so at the invitation of the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) Commissioner, Ms. Angélica Infante-Green, with the support of Governor Gina Raimondo and Mayor Jorge Elorza. The Partnership for Rhode Island funded the review," wrote Johns Hopkins.
