RI Blood Center Urges Monday Donations To Reduce Blizzard Impact

The Rhode Island Blood Center is advising it’s donors to donate early on Monday to help reduce the impact of the winter storm expected to hit our area Monday night and Tuesday of this week.

Those who were planning on donating blood on Monday or Tuesday of this week are asked to donate as early as possible on Monday due to the potential impact of the expected blizzard.

The Rhode Island Blood Center needs to collect around 280 pints of blood each day regardless of weather and asks for the help of the community to stave off any potential blood supply issues due to the storm.
