Rhode Island Readies for School: Watch Raimondo 1 PM Coronavirus Press Conference LIVE

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo will provide a weekly coronavirus update at 1 PM on Wednesday — as Rhode Island schools prepare to start on September 14.

The Rhode Island Department of Health on Wednesday reported 54 additional coronavirus cases from the day before, bringing the state’s total to 22,676 positive cases.

In addition, there were 3 more fatalities, bringing the state’s total to 1,062. 

RIDOH reported 5,185 people were tested on Tuesday.

Currently, there are 82 coronavirus hospitalizations, with 4 people in the ICU, and 3 on ventilators.
