“I am very pleased that Dorothy Pascale has accepted the position as the Bureau of Audits Chief," said Licht. "The Department is committed to assisting Governor Chafee with his efforts to identify fraud and waste and to protect taxpayers’ dollars.” A six-member Review Team of government officials supported the search effort. Pascale will be the sixth Chief in the history of the Bureau of Audits.
In her previous role as Deputy Chief for the Bureau of Audits, Pascale concentrated on internal audits, operational and regulatory auditing, financial management and budgeting, fraud investigations, management advisory services, and business process evaluation and design. Pascale also previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Director for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation and as Security Examiner for the Department of Business Regulations.
