In a response to Red-state TV networks like Fox and Blue-state media outlets such as MSNBC, GoLocalProv wanted to create a segment within the site the allowed left, right, Libertarians, progressives and other political groups the platform to share their views about Rhode Island.  From Matt Jerzyk to Travis Rowley to Peter Asen, to Liz Roberts - MINDSETTERS™ voice positions on schools, budgets, immigration and more.

No MINDSETTER™ piece was more poignant that Catherine Taylor's piece, "Who wants to go back into the big tent," which proved to be a prophecy to her campaign.

In 2010, more than 100,000 read the combination of MINDSETTERS™ - an impact on the election and on Rhode Island. Don Roach's piece predicting a John Robitaille victory almost proved right, but when his piece was written Robitaille was a distant third.  Once the piece appeared on GoLocal, the Robitaille campaign leveraged it across every social platform - it was shared hundreds of times on Facebook, giving tens of thousands of impressions, and gave credence to his campaign's viability.

For 2011, GoLocalProv hopes to be the place where people can agree to disagree and share their opinions on the issues that are most important to Rhode Island's future.
