RI State Police Investigates Easter Morning Crash on 95 Killing 2 and Injuring 2

Rhode Island State Police reports that two people died and two others were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Warwick early Sunday Easter morning.

Troopers received a report of a crash at approximately 4 a.m. on Interstate 95 North, just south of Exit 10, where a vehicle had gone off the highway and struck a tree.

The operator, who was ejected from the vehicle, and a front-seat passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the back seat were taken to Rhode Island Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
