Raimondo also admitted that for many restaurants, there are local hurdles to overcome relating to permitting of outdoor seating and the service of drinks outside.

The limitations include:
- Tables must be 8 feet apart from one another, with a table number limit per restaurant of 20
- No more than 5 people in a party
- Restaurants must use paper/disposable, or blackboards or electronic menus
- No walk-ups, only reservation
- Those making reservations must provide all their contact information in case there needs to be contact tracing
Raimondo’s 60 Plus Policy Repealed
In April, Raimondo claimed she was instituting a separate set of policies and restrictions for those 60-years-old and older.
"If you fall into the category of folks who are 60 and above — we are going to have to pay special attention to people who are 60 and older," said Raimondo said in April. "I want people in that age group to come to terms now — it will be different, slower, with a different set of regulations…to keep you safe, healthy, and well."
After the policy was announced many voiced strong opposition to Raimondo’s 60-plus policy -- specifically, that the policy was illegal and discriminatory.
On Monday, Raimondo walked back her previous statements.
