RICAS 2018-2019 ELA Rankings: RI’s Top - and Worst - Districts and Charters

On Tuesday, the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) on released performance results for students in grades 3 through 8 on the Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System (RICAS) for 2018-2019.

Statewide in English Language Arts, 38.48% of students met or exceeded expectations for ELA.

The breakdown for meeting and exceeding expectations by grades are as follows:

Grade 3: 47.89
Grade 4: 37.23
Grade 5: 39.09
Grade 6: 39.11
Grade 7: 31.53
Grade 8: 36.31
