Scarborough North, Roger Wheeler, & Misquamicut State Beaches to Open This Weekend

“Accessibility to outdoor recreation venues where families and friends can relax and share special times is part of DEM’s mission. Although this weekend’s weather forecast is iffy, we’re glad to open three popular state beaches early so that Rhode Islanders can get outside and enjoy themselves when crowds are light,” said DEM Director Janet Coit.
State beaches will officially be open daily from Saturday, May 25 – the traditional start of the summer outdoor recreation season – until Labor Day.
