Security Expert Amore to Talk Stolen Artwork at Pawtucket Library This Thursday

Security expert Anthony Amore will talk about stolen artwork - and more - at the Pawtucket Public Library this week. 

Amore will talk about major art thefts, including the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist in 1990.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 12 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A question and answer session will follow the lecture. Signed copies of Amore's book will also be available for purchase.

About Amore

As Director of Security and Chief Investigator at the Gardner Museum, Amore has been leading the efforts to track down the missing artwork since joining the museum in 2005.

He also co-authored the book Stealing Rembrandts: The Untold Story of Notorious Art Heists.

His second book, The Art of the Con: The Most Notorious Fakes, Frauds, and Forgeries in the Art World was published in 2015 and was a New York Times Crime Bestseller.
