Sheldon Whitehouse And Other Senators To Hold Talk On Criminal Justice Reform

The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate and the Coalition for Public Safety will host a bipartisan conversation on criminal justice reform on July 14 at 3:30 PM in Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Caucus Room

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) will be moderated by Bill Keller, former executive editor of the New York Times, and discuss the need for bipartisan reform of the nation’s criminal justice system. 

The Senators will also discuss the prospects for congressional action this year and what policy proposals are in the works. The event is not open to the public.
