Sitcom Pilot "Made in Rhode Island" Being Filmed -- in Worcester

Rhode Island-based Up-Hill Productions is on set filming "Made in Rhode Island" - in Worcester.
A sitcom pilot about Rhode Island is being filmed -- in Worcester.

The sitcom titled “Made in Rhode Island,” being produced by East Greenwich-based Up-Hill Productions is shooting at Grille 57 in Worcester through July 2, according to the company's Facebook page.

While the filming is taking place currently in Massachusetts -- the production company held a fundraiser for the sitcom pilot at Dan’s Tavern in North Kingstown back in May.

Made in Rhode Island

According to Up-Hill Productions' website, the sitcom is based on the “popular cigar lounges across Rhode Island.”

It is directed by Tracey Anarella, produced by Lawrence Scott and written by San Francisco’s SJ Petteruti.

The show will feature music by Rhode Island's Steve Smith and Peter Fish.

Cast members include Laurence Fishburne’s son Langston Fishburne and actress Nicole Kemmet.
