Snow in Forecast on Tuesday - One to Two Inches Predicted for Rhode Island
"Increasing confidence for a period of accumulating snow Tue, beginning in the morning and ending in the evening," NWS Boston posted on X on Sunday evening.
"Accumulations are expected to range from 1 to 3 inches interior and an inch or less near the south coast. Localized 4-inch amounts possible over the higher terrain," NWS continued.
