Sojourner House to Commemorate Anti-Violence Work at Sojo MoJoe Breakfast

Sojourner House will commemorate the anti-violence work of the organization during its 3rd annual SoJo MoJoe Breakfast.

The breakfast will take place on Friday, May 18 at the Providence Marriott from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The Breakfast

The event is expected to bring in over 300 guests to recognize the agency’s service in the community and will be emceed by Alison Bologna.

As a special highlight this year, two representatives from the Mary Byron Project (MBP) – Kathy Paulin, MBP Program Coordinator, and Judge Jerry Bowles, a national expert on domestic violence and a member of the MBP National Advisory Board – will be in attendance to formally present Sojourner House with the Celebrating Solutions Award. 

Sojourner House will also present three awards to honor community members who have made strides to advance the organization’s mission.

The Legacy Award will be presented to Laura Marin; the Community Champion Award will be presented to Toby Simon, and the Survivor Award will go to Vilma Sierra.
