Police have cleared a fatal crash that occurred early Thursday morning on I-95 by Providence Place Mall.

The accident occurred by Exit 23, and two lanes of northbound traffic were temporarily closed.

All three lanes of traffic were re-opened as of 7 a.m., but traffic delays are expected to continue as authorities investigate the accident.

“All lanes of travel 95 North at Exit 23 are now open but please use caution in the area,” Tweeted the Rhode Island State Police shortly after 7.
