The tax you pay represents income for the government. Trump gave a huge tax cut to the wealthy and to make up for the loss in revenue imposed a tariff (tax) on imported goods from China.

China was not happy and retaliated by not buying some American grain products which devastated US farmers.
Trump, to save the farm vote, subsidized farmers for their loss with a 9 BILLION dollar payout to farmers.
YOU paid for the farmer's bailout, and Trump followed with another tariff (tax) on Chinese products. China quit playing with Donald, and just announced they would not be importing ANY US farm products.
That leaves farmers out in the cold again.
Will DT subsidize farmers again, which would mean YOU pay for the subsidy AGAIN, or does he sacrifice the farm vote?
