The victim was transported by Rescue to Rhode Island Hospital for further treatment.

Police said they observed both blood and a broken bottle inside Mi Sueno.

The restaurant and club was the scene of a large-scale brawl in September 2022

Family Altercation

Police were called to the 200 block of Hartford Avenue at approximately 3:30 AM on Sunday morning for a report of an injured person.

Upon arrival, police met with a woman in her early 40s who said she was hit in her head with a bottle when she was trying to help a male family member.

The victim said the family member was being chased by a group of people when she went to intervene when someone smashed a bottle over her head.

She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.

Police spoke with witnesses on the scene and said that the area was littered with beer and liquor bottles.
