U.S. News & World Report Names Rhode Island’s Best High Schools

U.S. News and World Report has unveiled its ranking for best high schools.

No Rhode Island public high school made the top 100 in the country — Classical High School in Providence ranks #132 in the U.S. 

Barrington ranks #199 in the country.

“Rhode Island tests high school students' English language arts skills with the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, or PARCC, exams, according to the Rhode Island Department of Education. Students enrolled in geometry and algebra I can take assessments in these areas as well. Through the Regional Student Program Tuition Break, Rhode Island students may receive discounted tuition at out-of-state colleges within New England," writes U.S. News & World Report.
