"An Air Quality Alert has been issued for UNHEALTHY PM 2.5 from fire smoke for Thursday, June 29th. The heaviest smoke will move in through the day, with the heaviest late in the day.

Fine particle readings have been very elevated in states to our NW and W and models are indicating a portion of that plume will be grazing the state.

Check AirNOW.gov or your AirNOW app for the most up-to-date info on air quality throughout the day.

Partly sunny skies with light south winds, highs around 80F.

The smoke is expected to continue into Friday with at least MODERATE, possibly near UNHEALTHY.

Ozone is expected to reach near MODERATE.

Light southerly flow with sunshine and highs again around 80F. Stronger regional southerly flows are expected on Saturday which should drop air quality back to GOOD. Continued warm, with partly sunny skies."
