VIDEO: Black Lives Matter Spray Painted on $21M Providence Pedestrian Bridge
It is unclear when the video was taken.

It is unclear if she is referring to the bridge or the videographer.
On Friday, Providence resident Anthony Sionni captured photos of the bridge which showed the paint still visible. SEE VIDEO OF AFTERMATH BELOW
Bridge Slated to be Named After Black Civil Rights Leader
In an editorial at the passing of Providence rights leader Mike Van Leesten in 2019, GoLocalProv first called for the bridge to be named after him for being the "ultimate bridge-builder.”
In February, the Providence City Council took up the naming of the Providence Pedestrian Bridge after Van Leesten — who was a star athlete, leader in the civil rights movement, and founder of the Opportunities Industrialization Center OIC of Rhode Island.
The resolution was sent to committee for consideration where no action has been taken since.
