Not on the table, however, were questions on politics — Christie told GoLocal, “Perhaps another time” — and that his focus was on spending time with his family, before seeing his son off.
He did say however that he will be back in Providence in the fall for parents weekend, and that he looks forward to "going out on Federal Hill."
Seeing as he was spotted wearing a Notre Dame tee shirt — hopefully the former Governor will get some Friar gear while in town.
About Christie
Christie, a former federal prosecutor and political commentator, served as the 55th Governor of New Jersey from 2010 to 2018.
In June 2015, he announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination in the 2016 presidential election — before he suspended his candidacy in February 2016.
He later endorsed eventual winner Donald Trump and was named head of Trump's transition planning team.
