VIDEO: Security Cam Captures Deer Smashing Into Glass Door in Rhode Island

It’s not every day a glass door is smashed in — by a deer. 

And is captured on video.

North Kingstown resident John Ross took to social media on Wednesday to share a video of a deer — captured from his “Nest” camera at his door — charging up to his house, smashing into the door, and leaving. 

“Well, wasn’t expecting to come home to this!” Ross posted to Facebook, of the deer footage that was captured on video. 

Nest, whose tagline is “create a connected home,” uses the hashtag #caughtonNestCam for videos users share to social media.

Neither Ross — nor the deer, who appeared to escape unscathed — could be reached for comment Wednesday night.
