Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo is expected to release additional details about her proposed school delay at her 1 PM press conference at 1 PM.

Raimondo announced on Tuesday the two-week delay for more preparation time due to coronavirus.

On Wednesday, the Rhode Island Department of Health announced 74 new positive cases, for a total now of 20,129.

There were 2 new fatalities, bringing the state’s total to 1,018.

Currently, there are 89 hospitalizations, with a three-day average now at 91.
