Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo is expected to detail what “phase three” of reopening Rhode Island’s economy will look like at her press conference at 1 PM on Friday.

Raimondo said on Wednesday that Friday’s briefing would focus heavily on phase three details and time frame.

On Friday, the Rhode Island Department of Health announced 9 additional COVID-19 related deaths.

There are now 894 fatalities stemming from coronavirus according to the state.

In addition, there were 68 news positive cases, for a total of 16,337.
