The Governor's office, which has shut press and the public from physical access to the press conferences, was unable to provide a live feed on Thursday.

On Thursday, the United States Department of Labor is reporting Thursday that unemployment claims have soared to record highs -- over 3 million Americans filed for unemployment for the latest reported week during the coronavirus crisis. 

The Providence law firm Duffy and Sweeney joined GoLocal LIVE to discuss a free helpline for business owners.

The firm launched the initiative on Tuesday called Here2Help, and it has already received ten calls from business owners looking for advice on issues ranging from employment law, dealing with banks on critical lending issues and landlord-tenant issues.
