2 Confirmed Dead in Mass Shooting at Brown University, 8 in Critical Condition
There are two people confirmed dead in a mass shooting at Brown University in Providence on Saturday.
That disclosure was made by Providence Mayor Brett Smiley at this evening's press conference. WATCH BELOW

There are reports of multiple people being shot.
There was a major police and EMT response to the Brown classroom building, Barus & Holley on Hope Street.
As of 4:30 PM on Saturday, a large law enforcement presence has been established by Brook and Thayer Streets; law enforcement officials could be seen entering a Brown University building.
More than a dozen rescues are at the location. GoLocal saw more than 50 police and emergency response vehicles located on Hope Street. The Providence SWAT team is also on-site.
