Aaron T. Young Dies in Motor Vehicle Accident at Age 21

Aaron T. Young 21, of Connecticut, passed away on March 18, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a tragic motor vehicle accident. He is the son of Jeffery and Victoria Young of Burrillville, RI. 

Aaron was a student intern for the Defense Contract Audit Agency. He Graduated from Bacon Academy and received a bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce University. He was presently working on his master’s degree in Forensic Accounting. 

Besides his parents, he is survived by his only sister, Erika Young, and her partner Zach Forsberg-Lary, and his partner of two years, Nicholas Yapoujian.

 He was the maternal grandson of Joyce Lee and Robert Anthony Cerroni, the paternal grandson of the late Raymond Young and Ann Ducharme “Amma”. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles; Beth Cabana, Susan Garceau, Raymond Young, Amy Bove, Nathan Wilcox, Erika Castergini, Aimee Rupp, and many cousins.

He was a talented athlete beginning in childhood through his adulthood, from the Colchester Cougars to Bacon Academy to D II Track & Field at Franklin Pierce University. He was the Connecticut State Champ in pole vaulting. He was a valued teammate who always had the back of those around him.

He loved football, pole vaulting, animals, and children.

Aaron was born with a smile that never left his face. He will be remembered by everyone as a bright light who touched everyone he knew. He was wise beyond his years. His heart was pure, and his friendship was everlasting to those that were blessed to know him. 

Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 23, from 5 - 8:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on March 24 at 11:00 a.m with lunch immediately following. 

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Burrillville Animal Shelter.
