Albertine O. (Belisle) Deweirdt, Passes Away at 98

She was the wife of the late Treffle Gagnon and Henri Deweirdt. Born in St. Batholomy, P.Q., Canada. She was a daughter of the late Cleophas and Diana (Adam) Belisle.
Mrs. Deweirdt was a spooler for the former Cadillac Mills in Cumberland for over thirty years before retiring in 1980.

Albertine is survived by two step-daughters Jacqueline Croteau and Therese Nault Elias both of Florida, a niece Suzanne Dulac of Woonsocket, and her great-niece and caregiver Donna Roy of Woonsocket, and six step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Roland Belisle, and sisters Gertrude Ross and Marianna Champagne.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 18th at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre St. Woonsocket.
Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
