Army Veteran, Arthur F. Pearson Sr., Dies at 90

He was the husband of the late Arlene C. (Bernard) Pearson.
Born in Long Island, NY, he was a son of the late Walter A. and Florence (Douglas) Pearson. Arthur was the beloved father of Donna M. Williams (Hugh), Walter A. Pearson (Lorraine), Karen A. Amores (Edison), John Pearson, James Pearson (Donna), and the late Arthur F. Pearson, Jr. Brother of Linda Pagliarini and the late George Pearson, Ralph Pearson and Barbara Caffery. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Upon retirement, he worked as a Custodian for the Warwick School Department. In his spare time, he enjoyed a good day on the Bay fishing, although he did more cruising than catching any fish. He had a passion for his hobby of keeping tropical fish. I guess you could say it was one way he was guaranteed of catching a fish. Cooking was also a pastime he enjoyed, he subscribed to many cooking magazines looking for new ways to amaze us with his cooking skills.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 10-11 am followed by a Service at 11 am in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
