Army Veteran, Donald Robert Guindon Sr., of Coventry, Dies at 73
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Deborah Guindon; his son, Donald Guindon Jr.; his father, Anthony Guindon; his mother, Harriet Mayette; and his brother, Richard Guindon. He is survived by his three daughters Talia Hajjar, Samantha Guindon and Dawn Guindon; granddaughter, Grace Guindon; great-grandson, Noah Hajjar; brothers, Robert Guindon and Edward Guindon along with many nieces and nephews.
Donald was a devoted man who loved his family and his country. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and exemplified the bravery of a true hero. He worked at the Naval Submarine Base New London for 30 years and served as the Union President.

Together Donald and Deborah built a happy and incredible life together having started a family in their hometown of Coventry, Rhode Island. They were renowned for their spontaneous adventures and were filled with memorable stories of life experiences shared together with family and their dearest dogs Meatball, Courage and Sophie.
