Obituary: Carol A. (Sousa) DeIngenis Passes at 65

Carol A. (Sousa) DeIngenis 65, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. DeIngenis. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antone and Alvira (Caruso) Sousa. Carol was a Security Analyst and Assistant Vice President at Bank of America for thirty-six years. She knit hats and scarves for the homeless and hats for infants at Women and Infants Hospital, Providence.

She was the mother of Frank A. DeIngenis and his wife Christina and Christine A. Mitchell and her husband Joseph all of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Hanna M. DeIngenis, Patrick J. Mitchell and Nicholas T. DeIngenis. Carol was the sister of Joyce A. Martin and her husband Anthony of Florence, AZ.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church. 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
