He was the husband of the late Sue (Wong) Chin.
Born in Canton, China, he was the son of the late Chin Pang.

He is survived by four daughters, Lucy Chin, Margaret Mulveny, Lisa Gosselin, and Imogene Chin, and two sons, Gary Chin and Gerhard Chin, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was the father of the late Nancy Chin.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
Arrangements are by Family's Choice Cremation, 10 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
