Daniel F. Worcester, of Glocester, Passes at 59

Daniel F. Worcester, 59, of Glocester passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 in Backus Hospital, Norwich, CT.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Barry Edmund Worcester and Judith A. (Laferreir) Flynn.

Daniel was a long-haul truck driver for most of his life, working for Gene Costa Trucking, C L Line Inc., and GAF Ind. He also worked at his sister Karen’s insurance agency: Worcester-Wood Insurance Serv., in their hometown. His favorite hobby, which he was very passionate about, was detailing his cars.

He is survived by brother Kurt D. Worcester and fiancé Tammy St. Amand of Chepachet; sister Robin L. Ducharme and Roger Ducharme of Foster and sister Karen L. Worcester-Wood and Rick A. Wood of Chepachet. He had five nephews he adored very much: Bryan and Brendan Worcester, Tyler Worcester and Ricky (Monster) and Austin (Chomper) Wood. He is also survived by his late mother’s husband, Dennis B. Flynn of Harrisville.

His funeral service including visitation will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 starting with visitation from 9 to 11 am and followed by services in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag.

Burial will follow the services at Acotes Hill Cemetery, Putnam Pike, Chepachet.
