Denise Marie Demers-Davies of North Providence Dies at 66

Denise Marie Demers-Davies, 66, of North Providence, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Providence. She was the wife of the late Timothy Davies.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Thelma (Simmons) Demers. She resided in North Providence for the past seven years.

Denise worked in retail sales for several local furniture companies.

She enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Those who love her will remember her as a family prankster, her strong-willed nature, and the love she carried for her family.

She leaves her children, Laurie Parks of North Providence, Sandy Depot of Plainville, MA; her siblings, Stephen Demers of Arlington, MA, Richard Demers of North Providence, Thomas Demers of Port St. Lucie, FL, Elizabeth McGee of Dartmouth, MA and Michelle Ajemian of Weymouth, MA; her three grandchildren, Brendon Marwitz of Arizona, Katelyn Depot and Lillian Depot of Plainville, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Denise's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on July 18, 2022, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 12:30 PM. At the request of Denise, guests are asked to wear bright colors for the celebration of her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
