Educator in N. Providence & Providence Schools, Scott W. McNulty, Passes at 57

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Sarah (Cunningham) McNulty.
Scott was an educator for the North Providence and Providence School Departments for many years. He was a much-beloved teacher who touched the lives of many young men and women. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a master’s degree in history from Providence College in 2004 and was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society, with distinction. While a student at the Community College of Rhode Island, he was a member of two New England Small College Hockey Association championship teams and was named the Men’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1983.
He is survived by his children, Jesse McNulty and Alexander McNulty, and their mother, Laura McNulty; his brother, Neil McNulty, and many lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Scott’s life will take place at a later date.
