Florence A. (Cretella) Cedrone, Passes at 96

Florence A. (Cretella) Cedrone, 96, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 16, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Renato Cedrone.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (DiScuillo) Cretella.

She was a secretary at Coro Manufacturing then worked for Cut Rite Steel Rule Die Co. for 40 years before retiring at the age of 80.

She was the loving mother of Darlene Petruccillo and her late husband Steven and Raymond A. Cedrone; devoted grandmother of Stephanie Chenes and her husband Jared, Melissa Welch and her husband Craig, Michael Cedrone, and Nicole Cedrone; cherished great-grandmother of Josie Joy; adored sister of Gloria Cookson and the late Eugene Cretella Jr. and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Her visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:00 am in the Restoration Church, 244 Lexington Ave, North Providence followed by a service at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Beacon Hospice.
