Former Co-Owner of Real Estate One, Carl Walter Swanson, of Warwick, Dies at 82

Carl Walter Swanson, 82, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Carl A. and Doris M. (Morris) Swanson. He was the loving husband of Carol Elaine (Devine) Swanson.

Carl was a graduate of Roger Williams University and went on to co-own and operate Real Estate One, Ltd. in Warwick as a Real Estate Agent. He was also a member of the Little Rhody Beagle Club.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his beloved children, Carla Swanson of East Greenwich, Christopher Swanson of East Greenwich, Brian Swanson of Warwick, Kevin Swanson of Warwick, Robert Swanson of North Kingstown and Kimberly Swanson of Warwick, his brothers, George Swanson of Connecticut and James Swanson of Arizona, his sister, Karen Norman of Florida and his ten grandchildren, Anavey, Sadira, Tyler, Miles, Hunter, Remi, Benjamin, Connor, Owen, and Liam.

He was a brother of the late Kenneth Swanson and Robert Swanson.

His Funeral Service will take place at 12 Noon on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 am-12 Noon.
