Former Commander US Coast Guard, David A. Iaciofano, of N. Scituate, Dies at 56

David Allan Iaciofano, 56, of North Scituate, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at home, surrounded by his loving family. 

He was the beloved husband of Johnna M. (Talone) Iaciofano.  Born in Providence, David was a son of the late Victor S. and Virginia (Oliver) Iaciofano.  

He was a Field Service Technician at Milton CAT and a Commander in the United States Coast Guard, serving from February 1984 to October 1989.

Besides his wife, David is survived by his loving daughters, Francesca and Alexandra Iaciofano, both of Scituate.  He was the dear brother of Cheryl Pacheco and her husband Stephen, and Victor Iaciofano, all of Cranston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate, on Friday at 10 a.m. 

Burial, with Military Honors, will take place at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Providence VA Medical Center, Voluntary Service (135), 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908.
