Founder of Baxter's Fine Jewelry, Robert B. "Bob Baxter" Messerlian, Dies at 90

Robert graduated from Cranston High School in 1950 and Zion Bible Institute in 1953. He was the founder of Baxter’s Fine Jewelry, a former president of the Metal Findings Manufacturers Association, and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Among his other many interests included boating, golfing, music, spending time with his family & Bible studies.
Most importantly, he was a faithful servant of the Lord. His faith was paramount in his life. He was a former Elder of the Cranston Christian Fellowship & Deacon of the Armenian Evangelical Church of Cranston. He was a past board member of the Armenian Missionary Association of America.

He was the cherished grandfather of Ariana & David Abbott and Janina & Nicole Messerlian. He was the brother of Evelyn DerMardersoian & Leon Messerlian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 1st at 11 a.m. at the Armenian Evangelical Church, Cranston, followed by burial at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. (Due to COVID, Masks are required)
