George Irving Sahagian of Wakefield Dies at 89

George Irving Sahagian, 89, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at South County Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Irving and Teresa (Campisano) Sahagian. 

George worked as an electrical and aeronautical engineer before deciding to get his Master’s Degree from Harvard Business School. George went on to have a successful career in business, defining himself as a true entrepreneur.

He was the loving father of John Sahagian and his wife Grace of Narragansett, and the late Gregory Sahagian. George was the cherished grandfather of Samara, Eliana and Austin Sahagian, Rachel Tanner and Stephanie Sahagian; great-grandfather of Jaden, Oliver and Penelope. He was the dear brother of the late Corrine M. Hague.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday, October 24th at 10 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
