He Worked Two Jobs for Decades - David Roland Wentworth of Warwick Dies at 62

David R. Wentworth Sr., 62, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on March 24th, 1962, David was the beloved husband of Karen A. (Turcotte) Wentworth, and devoted father to his son, David R. Wentworth Jr. (wife, Kayla). Born in Cranston, he was the youngest of three sons of the late Harold and Dolores (Morin) Wentworth.

David was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and infectious sense of humor. A dedicated employee of Stiller Distributors and New England Realty Trust, David faithfully worked two jobs all his life. Throughout the years, he touched the hearts of everyone he met, and his legacy of love and compassion will live on through the countless lives he impacted.

 

A proud family man, David dedicated his life to supporting and caring for those he loved. He shared a special bond with his wife Karen, and his son David was the pride of his life. As a brother, David was a constant source of strength for Michael Wentworth (wife, Dorothy) and Harold Wentworth (wife, Gail) always ready to lend a hand or offer wise counsel. He also leaves behind his cousin Ronald Wentworth (Michelle Dean) whom he considered to be another brother and cousin Deborah Forlingieri (husband, Joseph).

 

David’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the love he gave to his family and friends.

 

A Visitation will be held at Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, from 4-7pm with a Memorial Service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to pancan.org in David’s honor.
