John E Ruggieri of Hopkinton Dies at 84

John E Ruggieri, 84, of Hopkinton, passed away on May 1, 2022, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London, CT.

He was the beloved husband of the late Helen A. (Scopelliti) Ruggieri. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Capirchio) Ruggieri. John was a school bus driver for 12 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his loving children: John Ruggieri of Hopkinton,  Kimberly Ruggieri-Lima and her husband Joseph of Cumberland and Elena Aviles and her husband Anthony of CT; his cherished granddaughters: Juliana and Jenna ; and his dear siblings: Joseph Ruggieri and Anna Hudson. He was also the brother of the late: Luigi Ruggieri , Mary St. Jean and Theresa Tantimonaco .

His funeral will be held on Friday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.

Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8 pm.
