Kyle J. Maloney of Warwick Dies at 35
Kyle J. Maloney, 35, a financial assistant, passed away Thursday, January 8th, 2026. Born in Warwick, he was the beloved son of John and Carol L. (Strayer) Maloney. Kyle was the loving brother of Sean M. Maloney (Charlene) and James R. Maloney (Erin); uncle of Madeline and Juliet Maloney. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is a graduate of Pilgrim High School and Johnson and Wales University.

Kyle worked in the financial field in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Texas. Kyle had a deep passion for football and a found joy in playing, watching and sharing his enthusiasm for the game. Music was another true love. He expressed himself through playing the guitar, often using music as a way to connect and relax. He also cherished travel, embracing new places and experiences.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10 am in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick. He will be laid to rest privately in the family lot at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, in Kyle’s memory would be appreciated.
