Long Time RIPTA Bus Driver Robert E. Davis, Sr., Dies at 86
Robert E. Davis, Sr., 86, a retired bus driver for RIPTA passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Gloria Y. (Langlais) Davis.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Francis and Ruth (Kelley) Davis. Robert was the loving father of Robert E. Davis, Jr. (Diane), Linda J. Borden, Lori Ann Pearson (David) and Steven M. Davis (Melissa).

His visitation will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 9-10 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Ln., Warwick.
The burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
