Marcel A. Dulac, of Block Island, Dies at 73

Marcel A. Dulac, 73, of Block Island, died peacefully on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at home with his loving wife by his side.

He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Lemme) Dulac.  Born on July 17, 1948, in Woonsocket, RI.  Moe spent the summers on Block Island and then the majority of his life there. Moe wore many hats on the island: fishing, heavy equipment operator, taxi driver, and butcher.

He retired in 2013 from the State Department of Transportation and the Block Island Highways Department. He was a history buff and very proud of his Native American heritage.

Besides his wife Judy he leaves, son Dan, of Pennsylvania, son Seth of Block Island, son Cyrus of Maine, and grandson Noah.

 

A private memorial for friends and family was held.
