Mary Ann Almeida of East Providence Dies at 80

Born January 24, 1942, in Providence, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. & Phyllis R. (Ferri) Perry.
Mrs. Almeida worked for the East Providence Housing Authority for twenty years as a Housing Administrator. Mrs. Almeida adored her grandchildren, a parishioner of Saint Francis of Xavier Church; she enjoyed ceramics, Reading and attending shows at Providence Performing Arts Center. She enjoyed Senior Citizens Trips with the Recreation Department, A Reserve Police Officer during the 1960’s she was also a member of the Police Officers Association.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 10:00 am at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 81 N. Carpenter Street, East Providence, R.I.,
Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, R.I.,
